request an appointmentWhat is ClearCorrect?
ClearCorrect is a clear tooth-straightening system. The clear aligners that shift your teeth are made from durable stain-resistant polyurethane resin.
ClearCorrect aligners fit your teeth in a very precise way because they’re custom-made for you. The aligners put exactly the right amount of pressure on the teeth that need to be shifted slowly and steadily to move them into the ideal positions.
You’ll swap aligner sets every 2-3 weeks as directed by the Lashen Dental Group team. During the treatment process, you’ll generally visit Lashen Dental Group for checkups and adjustments around every six weeks.
How is my ClearCorrect treatment plan made?
The Lashen Dental Group team takes digital impressions and images of your teeth and uses this information to create a proposed treatment plan. You’ll get to view the projected outcome to see how ClearCorrect can change your smile. After you agree on the treatment plan, ClearCorrect makes your aligners with digital precision.
How many hours do I have to wear ClearCorrect daily?
Lashen Dental Group generally recommends wearing ClearCorrect aligners 22 hours a day. Take your aligners out when you eat, when you drink anything other than water, and when you brush and floss your teeth.
How do I clean ClearCorrect aligners?
ClearCorrect aligners are easy to clean with a soft toothbrush, nonabrasive toothpaste, and cool water. It’s also smart to rinse the aligners off in cool water before you place them back in your mouth after a meal.
How long will my ClearCorrect treatment last?
It varies by patient, so it’s impossible to predict until the Lashen Dental Group team completes your exam and designs your personalized treatment plan. Before you start your ClearCorrect treatment, you’ll already have a good general idea of how long the total treatment will take.
Do I have to wear a retainer after ClearCorrect treatment?
Lashen Dental Group highly recommends wearing a retainer after ClearCorrect treatment. A retainer can keep your teeth in their final positions and minimize the chances of them drifting out of alignment again. ClearCorrect makes discreet transparent retainers for your convenience.
